Booking Intensive Driving Lessons in Guildford

PassMeFast offers no fewer than nine different intensive driving courses in the Guildford area. You can check all of them out at our comprehensive driving courses rundown, or compare the fees for our manual and automatic intensive lessons at our prices page.

Interested in automatic intensive driving lessons in Guildford?

PassMeFast proudly offers its learners a choice of transmission, meaning you can opt for lessons in either a manual or an automatic car. Take a look at our automatic vs manual blog article to see which is the right choice for you—and be aware that prices may vary by transmission.

While each of our courses is unique, they all share a few things in common. First, you’ll be learning alongside an experienced, DVSA-approved driving instructor, meaning you’re in safe hands. Second, you’ll have your very own Booking Agent taking care of the behind-the-scenes work, ensuring the admin is sorted and letting you focus on the driving itself. Third, we’ll arrange you a fast-track practical test to take place weeks or even months ahead of the standard waiting times you’d find by searching on the DVSA website.

Practical Driving Test Centres in Guildford

Being able to take your test close to home is always good news. After all, it means you’ll be tested on the same roads you’ll be driving on every day when you pass. (No test ever has a ‘guaranteed pass’, though—but, if the worst case scenario happens and you do fail your practical test, at least it’s only a short drive home!) For learners here, then, it’s nice to know that the Guildford driving test centre is a stone’s throw away. Alternative options can be found in Chertsey and Ashford.

Theory Test Centres in Guildford

As a county, Surrey isn’t especially blessed with theory test centres. This isn’t too surprising—as a general rule, they tend to be rather thin on the ground, with neighbouring London having only eight for its eight million people! Luckily, of the two test centres in the county, one is right here in Guildford town centre, with the other found in Staines. Remember that your test will include both multiple choice questions and a hazard perception section. Check out some of the CGI hazard perception clips introduced in November 2018.

Haven't taken your theory test yet?

One of the most common theory test myths is that it’s possible to do your theory and practical test on the same day—or that the order of the two tests doesn’t matter. In fact, you must pass your theory test first; it’s impossible to even book your practical test without having done so. Rules are rules! So, when booking your PassMeFast course, make sure you add a theory test on. We’ll arrange the appointment for you, meaning all you need to do is turn up with your provisional licence—and pass!

Driving Around Guildford

When driving in the Guildford area, you’ll soon realise how diverse the local roads are. Everything from busy dual carriageways like the A3 through to single-track rural roads may pop up on your driving lessons—and, indeed, on your test. You’ll be expected to know how to deal with all of them safely and confidently. It’s certainly no mean feat!

That’s where your PassMeFast instructor comes in. They’ll impart their considerable expertise to you during your lessons, helping to impress upon you the importance of a good attitude towards driving (including honing your defensive driving skills) as well as introducing you to the manoeuvres you need to know. At the end, you’ll be ready to take on the practical test, with a fantastic chance of walking away with that all-important pass certificate and shiny new licence.
