Practical Driving Test Centres in Weybridge

In this patch of Surrey, learners are able to choose between two test centres when it comes to sitting the practical test. To the north, there’s the Ashford test centre, with the Chertsey test centre lying just a few miles to its south-west. Both have boasted similarly high pass rates in recent years—to check how they compared to the country as a whole, take a look at our guide to the test centres with the best and worst pass rates.

Theory Test Centres in Weybridge

Surrey may only have two theory test centres, but that shouldn’t prove a problem for candidates in this part of the county. That’s because it’s only a short hop to Staines, the most convenient option in this part of Surrey. Alternatively, you have the option of heading to Guildford. Remember that you can’t bank on a guaranteed pass here, so you’ll need to put in plenty of effort! Why not start expanding your knowledge by reading up our guide to contraflow systems? (Haven’t heard of them before? Thank us later.)

Haven't taken your theory test yet?

Make sure you add a theory test onto your course when booking. After all, if you haven’t passed your theory test, you won’t be able to book a practical test—something which could really throw a spanner in the works if you don’t get it sorted in time!

Driving Around Weybridge

With two different test centres located in close proximity to Weybridge, you’re almost spoilt for choice when it comes to taking your practical test. If you’re taking your test in Ashford, you’ll become acquainted with features such as the A308 dual carriageway and the busy Fordbridge Roundabout. Over in Chertsey, meanwhile, you’ll be able to practice motorway driving on either the M3 or M25 (but don’t worry—they won’t feature on your test!)

Map of Weybridge within Surrey

Thankfully, we work with local instructors who know the lay of the land like the back of their hand. They’ll impart the knowledge they’ve gained over the years, helping you to gradually gain in both skills and confidence. By the end of your course, mirror-signal-manoeuvre will come as naturally as breathing, and you’ll be taking to the road like a duck to water.
