Intensive Driving Courses in Tunbridge Wells

If you’re in the Tunbridge Wells area, booking a PassMeFast course could take the hassle out of learning to drive. Read on to find out more about our intensive driving courses in this part of Kent, and see how getting on the road with us can be quicker and easier than you might think.

Booking intensive driving lessons in Tunbridge Wells

When many people hear that we’re an intensive driving school, they often have some preconceptions. Unlike other companies, though, we don’t make all of our learners take the same, bog-standard 5-day course—and we’ll never force you to use up one week’s holiday just to learn.

Instead, we’ve got nine different courses to choose from. Head over to our prices page to compare each of them, or try out our handy course recommender for personalised advice. Once you’ve found the one that’s right for you, you’ll work alongside your DVSA-approved instructor to create an intensive driving course that works for you.

Interested in automatic intensive driving lessons in Tunbridge Wells?

While some purists may feel that a manual is the ‘classic’ driving experience, the truth is that gear changes and clutch pedals aren’t to everyone’s liking. With PassMeFast, that’s not a problem: we offer automatic courses too! Simply select an automatic car when you book in. Be aware that prices vary by transmission.

PassMeFast understands that different schedules work for different people. So, if you’ve got the free time, you can take up to five hours of lessons per day. On the other hand, if you’re busier (or simply can’t stand the idea of so much driving at once), you can take lessons in shorter blocks of as little as two hours. No matter which you choose, our courses can help you become test-ready within weeks of booking.

With fast-track practical tests included with every course as standard, and your very own dedicated Booking Agent handling the behind-the-scenes work, learning with PassMeFast is a simpler, smoother and speedier driving experience. Practical Driving Test Centres in Tunbridge Wells

Local learners are in luck: the Tunbridge Wells practical test centre can be found right in the middle of town on Upper Grosvenor Road. Meanwhile, if you’re just outside of town, or are simply looking for an alternative, the Sevenoaks test centre is worth considering, too. Remember that it’s a good idea to bring your theory test certificate to your practical test—it isn’t always asked for, but it’s worth having it on you just in case!

Theory Test Centres in Tunbridge Wells

While local road variations can produce big differences in practical test pass rates, location shouldn’t have too much of an impact on theory test results. Nonetheless, it’s not exactly bad news to learn that the Tunbridge Wells theory test centre had an excellent pass rate in 2017/18: 57.5%, almost 10% higher than the national average. Simply head to the Pantiles part of town to take your test.

Haven't taken your theory test yet?

As you could probably guess, you’ll need to pass your theory test before you’re able to book a practical test. If you’re taking a PassMeFast course, though, we can arrange your appointment for you, saving you the stress of organising it yourself—and, in many cases, even bringing your appointment ahead of long waiting times. Result! Just add a theory test onto your course when booking.

Driving Around Tunbridge Wells

While some learners have to travel to the outskirts of town—or even to an entirely different location—to take their driving lessons and tests, things are a bit different in Tunbridge Wells. That’s because tests here start close to the town centre, meaning it could hardly be more convenient to get to your practical.

Once you’re behind the wheel with an examiner by your side, you’ll have to complete 20 minutes each of general driving and independent driving, the latter of which may involve using a sat nav. You’ll have plenty to watch out for on the road, including a number of mini-roundabouts on the A26. Show the skills you’ve gained during your course, though, and you could soon be taking your very own pass photo!
