Booking Intensive Driving Lessons in Dartford

If you’re familiar with the process of learning to drive, you might expect to have one or two hours’ worth of lessons per week over a course of a few months (or longer)—or, alternatively, you might expect to have to book a week off work to take a 5-day course, often far from home. One option is easy to fit around your schedule, but slow; the other is quick, but inflexible. Neither is ideal. That’s why PassMeFast decided to create courses that combine the best of both worlds.

Our range of nine different driving courses (go on, head to our prices page and count them) include everything from beginners’ courses to short, pre-test refreshers, alongside everything in between. You’ll have the freedom to choose a fully intensive course structure with as many as five hours on the road per day, or, if you’re a bit busier, spread your lessons out with our semi-intensive options.

Interested in automatic intensive driving lessons in Dartford?

PassMeFast knows that our learners have different preferences. So, if you’d rather say “no, thanks!” to clutch pedals and gear changes, opt for an automatic course. Please note that prices may vary by transmission.

PassMeFast don’t stop there, though. We’ll fast-track your practical test, ensuring it will take place ahead of the usual waiting times you’d encounter if you searched on the DVSA website. Your instructor will typically pick you up from home or work—useful for learners in the Dartford area, as local test centres are a bit of a drive away! On the topic of instructors, we only work with ADIs: experienced instructors who have the DVSA’s seal of approval. This means you’ll be in safe hands on the road.

Practical Driving Test Centres in Dartford

Learning to drive in as little as one week shouldn’t mean travelling for hours just to reach your test centre. That’s why we’ll always aim to secure you a fast-track practical test at a test centre close to home. For the Dartford area, this generally means checking out the test centres just over the border in Greater London, with nearby options including Belvedere, Erith and Sidcup.

Theory Test Centres in Dartford

Though, theory test centres are spread a little more thinly than practical test centres, learners in Dartford still have a few options in relatively close proximity. The easiest option for many to reach will be the Sidcup theory test centre, which is just 18 minutes away by car. Alternatively, you could head in the opposite direction to the Chatham theory test centre, which is around half an hour away by train.

Haven't taken your theory test yet?

Getting your theory test done in good time ensures you won’t experience any unnecessary delays when it comes to taking your test. After all, the theory test is a lot harder than many expect—despite the theory test myths, you can’t bank on a guaranteed pass! To make sure things run smoothly, check the theory test box when booking your course.

Driving Around Dartford

While those from outside of the Dartford area may best know it for the Dartford Crossing, anyone learning to drive locally will quickly realise that there’s a whole host of different road conditions you’ll need to get to grips with if you’re going to be able to pass your test here. Aside from that, there’s also the small matter of having to travel to another nearby town to take your test itself.

Map of Dartford within Kent

With several test centres nearby, your exact experience of driving will vary depending on where you’re taking your test. In Sidcup, you’ll need to watch out for the Crittalls Corner roundabout, for example, while Belvedere test routes may include a tricky slip road exit from the A220 onto a roundabout. However, the skills you learn—from a solid knowledge of box junction rules to pulling up on the right—will apply across the country.
