Booking an Intensive Driving Course in Sutton

There’s more than one way to do intensive driving courses. Here at PassMeFast, we know that it’s possible to help learners to pass their driving test within weeks without making everyone take the same 5 day course.

Unlike others, our driving school understands that our learners are individuals, each with differing needs and prior experience. It’s for this reason that we don’t just offer one intensive driving course—we have a range of different options to choose from. You can compare all of them by visiting our prices page.

Interested in automatic intensive driving lessons in Sutton?

When choosing your transmission, it’s important to dispel the myths and focus on the facts. An automatic car isn’t the “guaranteed pass” it’s often made out to be—but nor is it the pariah of the roads that some manual devotees perceive it as.

Learning in an auto is an increasingly popular choice. It’ll require just as much hard work as learning in a manual—but can be a godsend if you’re really struggling with gear changes and clutch control, hassles which auto drivers don’t need to worry about.

PassMeFast offers courses in both manual and automatic cars. This means that, whichever way you end up deciding, the choice is yours.

You’ll also have the power to control the pace when it comes to your lessons. After all, not everyone is able to take one week away from their desk to learn to drive! If you need to fit lessons around a busy schedule, you can choose a semi-intensive pace, with evening and weekend sessions available too—just let us know!

PassMeFast may offer different courses, but all of our students can enjoy the same great service. This includes one-on-one driving lessons with a DVSA-approved instructor, plus your very own dedicated Booking Agent, who’ll handle all of the admin for your course.

We also know that, once your lessons have come to an end, you won’t want to wait around to take your test. Other companies might think it’s okay to leave you languishing—but not us. We’ll let you strike while the iron is hot by arranging a fast-track practical test for you—and we’ll even book this in advance, so you can structure your course to lead up to this date.

Practical Driving Test Centres in Sutton

Since the closure of the Carshalton test centre, learners could be forgiven for thinking that there were no longer any practical test centres in Sutton. However, the Mitcham test centre, though named for the town in neighbouring Merton, actually lies just within the borders of Sutton, close to Beddington. Morden test centre (which is in Merton) may also be a convenient option for some in the area.

Theory Test Centres in Sutton

While Sutton did manage to sneak a practical test centre inside its boundaries, it unfortunately didn’t manage to repeat the trick with theory test centres. Luckily, Sutton is flanked by two neighbouring boroughs which both boast their own theory test centres: Croydon and Kingston upon Thames—better rail links make Croydon the more convenient choice here.

Haven't taken your theory test yet?

If you’ve not passed your theory test, you won’t be able to book a practical test. That’s why it’s important to take your theory test in good time. Simply add a theory test on when you book a course with us, and we’ll arrange it for you. Prepare by visiting our guide covering how to pass the theory test.

Driving Around Sutton

Lying on the border with Surrey, Sutton’s roads are a far cry from the bumper-to-bumper traffic often found in Central London. That’s not to say you won’t spot some busier areas here or there—the A232 (Cheam Road/Carshalton Road), which runs through the town centre of Sutton, is no stranger to heavy traffic. However, most of the borough consists of residential areas, meaning you’re more likely to be trundling along at twenty than sprinting at sixty in these parts.

Map of Sutton within Greater London

What’s been dubbed the “most normal place in Britain” still has plenty for drivers look out for, though. You’ll need to have a good understanding of how to approach different types of pedestrian crossings and junctions, and, given Sutton’s proximity to both leafy Surrey and bustling Inner London, the differences between city and countryside driving.
