Booking An Intensive Driving Course in Matlock

PassMeFast offer intensive and semi-intensive driving courses—but we do things a bit differently. Many people assume that an intensive course means that you’ll need to do everything over a 5 day period—booking one week off work in the process.

At PassMeFast, that’s not our style. Lessons with us are fast, but still flexible. You can take lessons at a fully intensive pace, or spread things out if you’ve only got limited free time.

Interested in automatic intensive driving lessons in Matlock?

With more and more drivers becoming frustrated by stop-start traffic on busy roads, automatic cars have become more popular. That’s because they offer drivers a smoother experience, without the need for constant gear changes.

Busy urban road conditions may not be a huge issue in Matlock, but if you’re still tempted by an auto, then we can help, as PassMeFast offers both manual and automatic lessons in Matlock!

Unlike other companies, we don’t just offer a single type of course. In fact, we have nine different courses—and there’s something for everyone, from a total beginner through to an experienced learner who’s almost test ready.

The one thing that is the same about all of our courses is the quality. Dedicated booking agents look after every PassMeFast course, sorting out all the admin and finding you those crucial fast-track practical tests. And, on the road, all of our courses are taught by professional, DVSA-approved instructors.

No matter what you’re looking for from your driving course, we could help you. To get things started, get in contact with us by calling the team on 0333 123 4949, or book by clicking the button below.

Practical Driving Test Centres in Matlock

With no driving test centre in Matlock itself, learners here will need to take their test in another town. This will most likely be one of the other Derbyshire towns that has a test centre: Buxton, Chesterfield or Derby. Remember, though, that our courses come with home and workplace pickups, so you don’t need to worry about getting to and from your test! Remember that most tests will feature the use of sat navs—get to grips with the specific model used on the test by reading our intro to the TomTom Start 52.

Theory Test Centres in Matlock

If you thought that your theory test was something you could put off for another day, then think again: according to DVSA rules, you must pass your theory test before taking your practical. After all, what you learn here will provide you with the driving knowledge you need to be confident when you get behind the wheel for real! You may also want to change your theory test to an earlier date to ensure you've passed in plenty of time.

Though there’s no test centre in Matlock itself, you won’t need to travel too far, with theory test centres available in Chesterfield and Derby. Be sure to read our guide on how to pass your theory test while you’re on the way!

Haven't taken your theory test yet?

PassMeFast can book your theory test for you—all you have to do is check the “theory test” box when you book your driving course.

Driving Around Matlock

Though a smaller town, driving around Matlock provides its own array of challenges. The town centre features some tricky mini roundabouts, and the busy A6 which runs through the town. However, rural roads abound once you leave the town itself, meaning you’ll need a diverse range of skills to drive in this area.

Map showing Matlock within Derbyshire

To compound the above issues, drivers here will need to travel to another town to take their test, meaning that you’ll have to get used to an entirely different set of road conditions—you’ll certainly get a flavour of the differences between driving in the city and driving in the country! After lessons with your instructor, though, taking on the open road should be a breeze, meaning that—while no test ever comes with a guaranteed pass—you’ll have a fantastic chance of passing with flying colours.
